1. Take the morning bus from Sougia to Omalos (the entrance).

2. Hike the 16km trail down to Agia Roumeli.

3. Take the afternoon ferry from Agia Roumeli back to Sougia.

· The Experience: You will walk through the "Iron Gates" (the narrowest point of the gorge) and might even spot the famous "Kri-Kri" wild goats.

· Pro Tip: Buy your ferry ticket as soon as you arrive at Agia Roumeli to ensure your spot on the boat back to Sougia.
